About
My studio based in rural Pembrokeshire, Wales, specialises in promoting a mindful and sustainable approach to the world through objects for the home and yourself and running workshops which allow you to breathe and learn in a supportive and hands on manner. I work from my space near Narberth as well as visiting and working with people across the country. My whole practice is about working within the remit of what the planet can offer but also what it can sustain.
I founded my studio just before the first lockdown in 2020, and with my BA (Hons) in Textile Design from UAL, my MA in Experience Design from the Royal college of Art, London and my MSc in Sustainability and Ecology from CAT and LJMU, you couldn't be in better hands if you want to work with someone or buy from someone whose practice and life revolves around the natural world.
An award winning maker and environmentalist, I focus on how to connect people with ideas of landscape and nature, highlighting our impact on it and the importance of its impact on us. Using natural materials, found objects and ancient craft processes in a unique way.
I work in community engagement, working in a way which encourages a sustainable and respectful relationship with us as a part of the natural world, not apart from it.
As part of this, I am currently working on the fields next to my studio to develop spaces for nature to thrive. This includes my willow beds which are expanding with each season, a wild rush area to make codage from, a native woodland which will be planted for mammal and birdlife to thrive and wildlfower patches to feed and house the cacophony of insects and wildlife in this valley.
